No fishing at Kilnwood Vale

Dear Residents,

It has been reported to Preim that some residents would like to fish on the balancing ponds at KWV. These ponds are not designed for fishing and have been installed as part of the overall drainage design for the development. These are not designated fishing locations and any people caught fishing will be reported to the local authority and the police.

The balancing ponds are due for works this summer to reduce the reeds and growth, this was scheduled for earlier in the year, however due to the wet weather and then the Covid-19 Lockdown works have been pushed back. They are anticipated to be completed in June/July and Preim will notify residents when the dates for these works are agreed. Currently it is being reviewed by a water specialist to confirm the schedule of works required.
